Jasun Mahaffey, owner of My Silent Dance Party, is not only a fan of music but a fan of the uniqueness that is Silent Dance. Jasun had a chance to experience his first Silent Dance Party and absolutely loved the concept and idea of it and ran with it! Many don't even realize what Silent Dance Parties are, do you?
A silent dance party is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcast via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants. Those without the headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to nothing.
